After ten weeks of stressing out and making study schedules and nagging (Okay... I admit I nag--sometimes!) I have finally received my scores of my exams that I worried about so much:
Astronomy: Outstanding
History of Magic: Outstanding
Potions: Exceeds Expectations
Herbology: Outstanding
Charms: Outstanding
Transfiguration: Outstanding
Defense Against the Dark Arts: Outstanding
Yes, yes, even though Professor Quirrell turned out to be crazy in the end, not to mention absolutely evil, I still made a great grade in his class. I'm annoyed about my Potions marks, but it's Snape, and I'm a Gryffindor. I expect I'll never be satisfied with my marks in Potions as long as Snape is the Potions Master.
Apparently I've made the best grades out of all the first years in the school, and I have Harry and Ron to thank for that piece of information. Both of them made good marks as well; I couldn't be happier for them, although I should make a more organized schedule for next year.
This marks the end of my first year. All that's left in school is to pack everything up and board the train in a few days time. I don't know what this year would've been like if I hadn't come to Hogwarts.
I can honestly say it's changed my life. I've found my best friends here and the family I have within Gryffindor House is the best. I almost don't want to leave...
...
Oh, I almost forgot to write about the End of the Year Feast from a few days ago!
Remember how Harry and I messed up and somehow got Neville caught up in our mess as well as we lost Gryffindor house 150 points? And we lost the lead and all that (That was my worst time here, honestly). Well, Dumbledore decided to award a few more points here and there, right before the feast ended, to Gryffindor.
We'd all thought Slytherin won the House cup, it was as good as theirs! But then Dumbledore handed out 50 points to Ron, for the best played game of wizards chess EVER in Hogwarts.
He awarded me 50 points for my use of logic as far as Snape's security measure went, and he awarde Harry 60 points for his courage.
At this point Gryffindor and Slytherin were tied and I couldn't believe it. Dumbledore gave us enough points to not only make up the ones we lost, but to also put us in the race for the House Cup.
Then, he awarded Neville 10 points for his bravery in standing up for himself.
Which means that Gryffindor won the House cup!!!
I couldn't believe it, I can't believe it still!
Who would've known that breaking the rules would be rewarded in so many ways.
